3. Wide-Width Carding Machine
This is an upgraded version of the ordinary small 80 or 101 cotton carding machine. It has a higher degree of automation than the 80 or 101 machines, a larger output, and can form cotton slivers in a single pass, eliminating the need for repeated bonding of multiple cotton rolls. While the process results in a looser fiber structure and reduced flatness compared to fine carding machines, the wide-width machine occupies a larger area (3.2m x 4m). Although there is a difference in quality compared to fine carding machines, it still has practical value in some regional markets.
