According to the "Report", the national e-commerce transaction volume reached 29.16 trillion yuan in 2017, an increase of 11.7% over the same period of the previous year (including goods and services e-commerce transactions amounted to 21.83 trillion yuan, an increase of 24.0%; contract-type e-commerce transactions were 7.33 trillion yuan, down 28.7% year-on-year. Among them, the national online retail sales amounted to 7.18 trillion yuan, an increase of 32.2% over the previous year (including the online retail sales of physical goods was 548 million yuan, an increase of 28.0%, accounting for 15.0% of the total retail sales of consumer goods).
In 2017, the total volume of textile and apparel e-commerce transactions was 5.28 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.65%, accounting for 18.11% of the total national e-commerce transactions. Among them, the amount of e-commerce transactions between textile and garment enterprises (B2B) was 4.09 trillion yuan, an increase of 18.55% year-on-year; the total retail sales of clothing and home textiles was 1.18 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.08%, accounting for the national object. The total retail sales of merchandise online is 21.58%. It is expected that in 2018, the industry e-commerce will continue to work hard to improve quality, and the growth rate will slow down. The annual e-commerce transaction volume will reach 6.15 trillion yuan.
